Cranberry Apple Sangria Recipe

Cocktails DomesticDeevah Recipes The Society Life

Hello, darlings Deevah Von-Lace, from Cocktails + Drapes here with a fabulous Thanksgiving cocktail for you. My friends here at Chic Society contacted me to share something wonderfully delightful with you this holiday season, and you know I was definitely up for the task. Now I don't know about you, but when I think of Thanksgiving flavors, the first thing that pops in my mind is cranberry...and not because I like it in my cocktails. So I had to come up with a cocktail that features two of my favorite things, wine & cranberries. This fall sangria is simple to make and utilizes in season fruits. This recipe is also pretty forgiving, so you can add as much or as little of an ingredient as you want...but in my world, the more wine the better, darling! I definitely recommend making this at least 12 hours in advance to allow the flavors to come together.

Cranberry - Apple Sangria

2 750ml bottles of port wine
1/2 c. Grand Marnier Liquor
1 c. Captain Morgan spiced rum
1.5 c. cranberry juice
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped apples (pink lady or Figi)
1 c. fresh cranberries
1 thinly sliced orange
1 c. chilled seltzer water or club soda

To a large pitcher or bowl add your sliced oranges, cinnamon, & brown sugar. Muddle the fruit and spices together. Add your liquors & cranberry juice to the mix and stir. Add your apples and cranberries. Chill for at least 12 hours or overnight. Add your seltzer water before serving & enjoy, darlings!

Until next time, darlings! 🍷 💋
